Andean Flamingo
The image portrays the captivating Andean flamingo, a remarkable and elusive avian species. Through intricate details and vibrant colors, this artwork serves as an educational piece, shedding light on the bird's diet, habitat, and behavior. Crafted as part of my master's degree in scientific illustration, I deliberately selected the Andean flamingo due to my unwavering passion for conservation and profound admiration for this particular species. My aim was to create an artwork that seamlessly combines information and aesthetic appeal, with the hope of fostering greater awareness regarding the Andean flamingo and the numerous challenges it confronts.
