Hello! My name is Gloria Fuentes.
I hold a PhD in Molecular biology and have more than 2 decades of experience in biomedical research.
During all those years, I was among the voices demanding more funds going into research. However, at one point, I stop and thought that if we want more money, we should be more open and clear about how we are using it. Then I got the idea that ART is the perfect vehicle to bring the gap between Society and Science: STEAM.
In the last 2 years, I have completed 2 master’s degrees: one in Scientific Illustration and the other one in 3D animation. So now I am as well the founder of The Visual Thinker.
Let’s Unleash the Creativity to bridge the gap between Science and Society, “If I can illustrate it, you can understand it”.
