Spanish Women in Science is an illustrated portrait project to raise awareness of these remarkable women.

They represent different backgrounds, locations, stages in their careers and the level of scientific achievements. However they all share their passion for science, and the stamina they have to pursue their dreams braving a world still dominated by men.

This personal project is my contribution for the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, 2020.

It is a project still in progress with the goal of creating a series of portraits that encourage young girls to take an interest in different scientific disciplines. I will try to keep working on it and populating this section with more portraits of women in science representing the wide landscape of this community.
